Insider has written about the Donor for Dad digital billboard campaign which is running right now t0 find a kidney donor for Formetco VP Todd Heller.  Insider received this update from Todd’s daughter Kara who highlights the effectiveness of the campaign and urges everyone to keep running the ads.

WOW the Donor for Dad campaign is working!

I wanted to let you know how extremely grateful our family is for your generosity in helping us find a Kidney donor.  The billboard advertising is working!!!  We are still in the midst of trying to find a match for my dad, but we are now getting many inquiries and applicants since the billboards have gone up. Piedmont hospital in Atlanta has said they are inundated with these inquiries. We are now getting an unbelievable amount of hits on our website. We used to get 30 to 40 a week and now we are getting close to a 1000 a week.  We have also received a large number of really thoughtful emails from concerned people who would like to help us either by trying to donate their kidney or giving us really good recommendations for hospitals etc.… Through all of this we have realized how many truly thoughtful, kind and caring people there are in this world.  We really believe that the billboards will be successful in finding a donor for my dad!  We know this will take some time as only one person can be tested at a time. We would appreciate if you can keep these ads running because they are generating so much interest!
