Todd Heller, a Formetco VP of Digital Products, is having health issues and is on dialysis.  He is looking for a kidney donor.   Insider talked with Todd’s daughter Kara who’s a senior at Kennesaw Sate University.

Kara, what’s wrong with your dad?

My dad is in stage 5 kidney failure and he’s on dialysis, three times a week for about five hours each time.  He needs a kidney donor.  His blood type is A positive…he can accept a kidney from anyone that’s A or O.  It you are not a matching blood type there is something called the paired kidney exchange program where if you are not a matching blood type to my dad, you can switch kidneys with someone who is.

So he’s going to have to stay on dialysis until he finds a kidney match?

Correct…Kidney failure is becoming such a problem that many of the dialysis centers are becoming way over-packed.
