Intersection placed a car atop a CTA station as part of an outdoor advertising campaign.  Is this type of campaign covered under an out of home company’s general liability policy?

An exposure like this would be covered on your Out of Home General Liability. There is no exclusion for this kind of thing.  However, if you were orchestrating this event including hiring all contractors involved to mitigate your risks you should have contracts in place with every contractor requiring property limits of Liability, Auto, Umbrella and Workers’ Compensation insurance. As part of your contract you should include an insurance clause requiring every contractor to add your company as an Additional Insured with respect to General Liability coverage on a primary and contributory basis with a Waiver of Subrogation on General Liability and Workers’ Compensation on behalf of your company,
