Billboard Insider has learned that Michael Grace, the owner of Ace Outdoor Advertising in Shreveport, Louisiana, was shot and killed last Friday. The suspected killer died in an accident fleeing the scene. Here’s the KTBS.com story and another from thecount.com.
Michael Grace received a Bachelor’s Degree from Southwest Texas State University. He founded Ace Outdoor in 2004 and was an early adopter of digital billboards. Ace Outdoor’s Louisiana billboard plant includes 9 digital billboards. Here’s a video of Michael talking about digital billboards.
Michael was a longtime reader of the Billboard Insider newsletter and user of the Billboard Insider classifieds. Sad to hear.
