Legacy Outdoor Buys 361 Faces in Arkansas and Missouri

Legacy Outdoor Advertising is very excited to have completed the acquisition of 361 out of home faces in Northeast Arkansas and Southern Missouri from American Outdoor Advertising, Inc and American Billboards, LLC.  Billboard Insider talked with Legacy’s CEO Mark S Liljehorn about the transaction.

Tell us about what you bought and why it makes sense for Legacy.

Like Legacy Outdoor, both American Outdoor Advertising and American Billboards were family owned and operated plants. The Francis and Greene families took great pride in their all steel structures which shows in the quality of locations and craftsmanship of the billboard units. Legacy Outdoor Advertising saw this plant as an excellent opportunity to keep a family owned operation just that, a family owned business. The Jonesboro and Paragould markets have outstanding growth opportunities that the Legacy team will nurture, working alongside businesses in the area giving them the opportunity to market themselves in a creative, professional way to the communities they serve. Legacy is always looking to grow their footprint, and this expansion from our current plant to the southeast was a natural move for us.  We will continue to operate the plant under the American Outdoor Advertising name for a short while.
