  • The rate of decline has slowed over the past two weeks.
  • The number of trips increase dslightly during the past week but the trips were of shorter duration.
  • The states which have had the largest traffic reduction from the pre-covid control week are New Jersey (down 63%), Hawaii (down 62%), Michigan (down 57%) and New York (down 56%).
  • The states with the lowest traffic reduction from the pre-covid control week are Wyoming (down 27%) and Arkansas (down 33%).
  • Nationwide trucking is only down 6% versus the pre-covid control week.

Insider’s take:  Lots of cars and almost all commercial trucks are still on the road.  You need to communicate this to your clients when they call to say they want to cancel because no one is seeing their billboards.
