A member of the Mac Haik family of companies, MH Outdoor was founded in July 2011 in Houston, Texas. Historically Mac Haik had owned, operated and leased a few outdoor advertising billboards in the Houston market, however, with the formation of MH OUTDOOR MEDIA LLC, the decision was made to develop a true outdoor media company.  Presently, MH Outdoor Media has grown to own and operate over 1,200 static, tri-vision and digital LED billboard displays located across six states, Alabama, Texas, Tennessee, Georgia, Louisiana, and Florida. Marshall Henderson is COO of MH Outdoor.

In October 2019 MH Outdoor acquired 59 static and 13 digital faces in East Alabama from New South Outdoor.

Joseph Michael “Mac” Haik is a former professional football player who played wide receiver for four seasons for the Houston Oilers in the American Football League (1968–1969) and the National Football League (1970–1971). Mac Haik Enterprises employs over 1,350 associates and owns land, restaurants, commercial office buildings and a chain of auto dealers located in Texas that generate revenues in excess of $1.3 billion a year.
