Ben Schwartz, the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 tweeted a Sonic voiceover as he drove by a Sonic Movie 2 billboard.

A few days ago a Sonic Movie 2 attendee tweeted a picture of a movie billboard to announce that he’d seen the movie as well.

Another example of how billboard advertising generates additional impressions when it is retweeted on social media.  Billboard retweets are a standard Hollywood practice to generate programming buzz.
