Now That’s a Lot of Steel!

Last week Insider visited the Selective Structures plant in Athens Tennessee.  Selective was working on a new structure to support a 40′ by 48′ digital billboard which will be installed at the new SunTrust Ballpark in Atlanta. The base pipe is 8 feet in diameter.  The torsion bar is 30″ in diameter.  The digital billboard will be used for onsite and commercial advertising at the new ballpark.  Insider will run an article and pictures once the sign is installed.       […]

Six New Digitals For Baldwin Park

The San Gabriel Valley Tribune reports the Baldwin Park city council approved the construction of six new digital billboards along Interstate 10.  The council needed to amend the city zoning code to allow for the digital signs. The agreement is expected to bring in more than $10 million to the city’s general fund over the next 30 years. The new signs will have one digital face and one static face each.
