Up Like a Rocket, Down Like a Rocket

 

Last Friday we wrote that Vivint was the third largest US out of home advertiser in 2025, after Apple and Morgan & Morgan.  Vivint’s out of home  spending increased from approximately $150,581 in 2024 to $53 million in 2025.  We are trying to figure out where all that money was spent and with whom.

What goes up fast can come down fast.  Billboard Insider hears that Vivint’s parent NRG Energy has canceled all of Vivint’s media spend.  Not just out of home.  All advertising.  Interesting to see that Vivint isn’t in the top 10 OOA advertisers reported by the OAAA for the first quarter of 2026.
