The Outdoor Advertising Association of Tennessee (“OAAT”) represents the interests of Tennessee out of home companies. Tammy Dudley was appointed CEO/Executive Director of the Association in August 2019.
Tammy what’s new at the Outdoor Advertising Association of Tennessee?
We have become really aggressive in the past few months to position ourselves for a great 2020! We have just launched our new website www.oaatn.com! We hope that our website becomes a great resource for our members and for potential clients looking to find out more about the out of home industry. We have launched our social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter! The OAAT has also added 6 new members recently including R & R Outdoor, PlainView Outdoor Advertising, Media Resources, Vincent Printing, PlainView LED, and Formetco. We truly believe there is power in numbers and we are strongly encouraging independent out of home companies to join the association. We are also encouraging supplier members to join our association as a networking opportunity with all of our members.
Any updates on what’s happening with the Thomas case?
We are working with the state of Tennessee for a legislative remedy in the 2020 session.
What’s 2020 look like for the OAAT?
Now that we have laid the foundation for the association, we are now turning our sights to build a robust PSA program for the state of Tennessee. We are actively reaching out to state agencies to see how the out of home industry can become move involved. We want our assets to become a resource for the communities they are located in as well. We are still looking to add more independent out of home companies to our association, as well as suppliers. We are very excited about 2020 and how we are looking to continue to grow the association.
