    Rate This Board allows a billboard designer to rate a random piece of billboard artwork using the following scale: 1 (not good), 2 (below average), 3 (average), 4 (very good), 5 (great). Then the designer talks about what they may have done differently for outdoor advertising.     Job Fair

    Rating: 4 (very good)

    • Digital board offer us an opportunity to communicate and advertiser’s multilayered message without cluttering the ad-space with too many words and rendering the ad ineffective. If you have digitals in your market, this is a terrific way to use them.
    • HCA ManorCare used one board as a lead in to draw attention to the job fair and each of three additional boards to focus on a particular job to be filled. The target market was sure to see their particular skill set highlighted in the big blue box.
    • The design ties them all together, leaving no doubt these are all for the same advertiser. There’s plenty of contrast for legibility and the inherent brightness of digital board only enhances that, especially at night.
    • I would really like to see the logo larger and the web site larger or simpler. Overall, these board earn a 4 (very good).
