Outfront Media Accepting Submissions for Art Contest

Entry is open for OUTFRONT’s new inaugural art competition – OUTFRAME – which aims to recognize artists in the ad community who have real art to share with real people in the real world.
When are submissions accepted?
From September 1 to October 1.
Who is Eligible to Enter?
OUTFRAME is open to submissions from professional creatives who are 18 years of age or older and work full or part-time (over 24 hours per week) in Advertising Agency or In-House Client Creative Departments in the 50 United States and Washington, DC.
What is Eligible to Enter?
OUTFRAME is an open format art competition.
We will accept entries created using Watercolors, Pencil & Charcoal, Acrylic, Drawing, Pastels, Oils, Mixed Media, Photography, Video and Digital. All submissions must be entered digitally, and it is a condition of entry that moving artworks must be also be accompanied by a static version of the piece to be admissible.
Entrants can work with any materials they want, but all entries must be submitted online as (i) a .png or .jpg for static images; or (ii) an .mov or .mp4 file for video submissions, with an accompanying static .png or .jpg. The contest is open for entries from 12:00 am Eastern Time (ET) September 1, 2019 until 11:59 PM ET October 1, 2019 so here’s some information to help you get started:
How to Enter
All correspondence with artists will be via email.
Download or print the entry form from the contest website located at wegetyou.com/outframe
Create: Entrants select their favorite original, unpublished work from their existing portfolio or create something specifically for the competition.
Write: An artist statement of up to fifty (50) words to tell us a bit more about your submission, what inspired you, how and when you created it, the concept behind your work. Then fill out the rest of your details on the entry form, including the agency or company that you currently work for and your work e-mail address which we will use to corroborate your eligibility.
Submit: Enter the contest by uploading your entry to the contest website between 12:00 am ET September 1, 2019 until 11:59 PM ET October 1, 2019. Judging: Entries will be judged against the following equally weighted parameters by a panel of established artists and Industry creative directors: (a) Artistic Merit and level of skill (b) Creativity and originality of concept (c) Impact at scale, or how the entry would translate to a billboard or digital screen (d) how well the Entrant explains their entry in their supporting statement; (e) adherence to the Contest and these Rules.
 
Only one application per entrant. Only the first submission entered will be considered and any additional submissions will be disqualified.
