In response to last week’s column on digital billboard data charges New South Outdoor owner Neil Bell highlights an alternative to Verizon.

What data provider do you use for your digital billboards?
For the last 12 of our total 36 digital units, I have used Solve Networks. They buy data in bulk and resell it.
What are the benefits?
Previously, I only worked with Verizon. If there was an issue, getting to the right person was always a nightmare. With Solve, I have a rep I can call. I have her cell number and direct email address. We rarely have issues but when we do they handle them quickly. 
How’s the quality of the service?
I have not had an issue with connectivity. The cost is the same as Verizon, but I don’t have a number of the fees and taxes tacked on.
