Lamar Renews Palm Beach Transit Contract

Baton Rouge, LA – December 1, 2020 – Lamar Advertising Company (Nasdaq: LAMR), one of the largest out of home media companies in the world, announced that the company has been awarded a new contract to continue managing all transit advertising for Palm Tran, Inc., the public transit system serving Palm Beach County, Florida. Lamar has served as the transit advertising partner for Palm Tran since 1998.

Palm Tran has a fleet of 159 articulated and hybrid city-style buses that operate within the urban and rural areas of Palm Beach County, covering 8 million miles a year and providing service to a ridership of more than 12 million. Lamar will manage and provide exterior advertising for 100 buses and internal advertising for the entire fleet.
