Lamar Launches Digital Billboard Campaign in Memory of Blake Davis

Baton Rouge, LA – May 11, 2020 – Lamar Advertising Company is proud to support #ForBlake, the movement that encourages people to perform good deeds in memory of Blake Davis, a young boy who lost his battle to pulmonary hypertension just shy of the age of three in 2019. Blake’s passing prompted the movement that launched on the one-year anniversary of his death to capture, track and share stories of uplifting good deeds and acts of kindness performed in his memory.

“Blake’s memory is an inspiration and a reminder of how meaningful a simple good deed can be, especially during difficult and challenging times,” said Ian Dallimore, Lamar Vice President of Digital Growth. “We are so proud to be part of this campaign and to deploy our digital billboard network to help spread Blake’s legacy and message.”

To elevate awareness of the movement and the #ForBlake brand and website, Lamar is allocating space on 39 digital billboards across the U.S. Southeast. The billboards will display the message, “Each Good Deed Inspires the Next,” and encourage the public to join the movement and continue the legacy of doing good deeds.
