Lamar Expands Denver Transit Ad Displays

Denver, CO – May 7, 2019 – With the recent grand opening of the G-Line commuter rail in Denver, Lamar Advertising Company (Nasdaq: LAMR), one of the largest out of home (OOH) media companies in the world, is pleased to debut a range of new outdoor advertising opportunities for local and national advertisers. Clients will be able to reach and engage the 9,000 daily passengers expected to use the new rail line, as well as increasing the visibility of our advertisers’ campaigns throughout these new markets. Adding to an already extensive portfolio of OOH inventory in the Denver area, Lamar Advertising of Colorado is now able to offer commuter rail wraps, kongs and interior dominations along the 11-mile G-line, enabling any advertiser to splash its brand and make an impression with commuters.
“We are excited for the opening of the G-Line and the new exclusive advertising opportunities available for our customers. Our campaigns will include exterior and interior dominations and wraps on all of these new rail cars,” said Cliff Moak, Sales Manager, Lamar Advertising of Colorado. “Lamar has a long history of helping companies connect with their target audiences through innovative and impactful outdoor and transit advertising. The new G-line allows us to extend our offerings in and throughout the expanding Denver market.”
The G-Line will bring faster and more frequent service to Denver, Arvada and Wheat Ridge. The 11-mile commuter rail line will offer more connections to more destinations, transporting passengers from Wheat Ridge to Union Station in 26 minutes, where passengers can then connect to the C, E and W light rail lines, to the University of Colorado A-Line to Denver International Airport, the B-Line to Westminster, to local and regional buses, or to the free MallRide and free MetroRide shuttles.
“The opening of the G-line commuter rail means more options for commuters and, through our partnership with Lamar, new opportunities for advertisers,” said Adrian Mabry, Regional Transportation District Manager, Projects & Contracts. “Lamar has a proven track record in managing transit advertising inventory in a way that is aesthetically enhancing while also beneficial to both passengers and advertisers.”
