By a vote 12-1 the Los Angeles City Council approved the award of a transit shelter contract to Tranzito-Vector, LLC. to install 3,000 transit shelters and 450 shade shelters. Billboard Insider has not seen the final contract but here’s a link to the April 28, 2022 draft contract between Tranzito-Vector, LLC. and the City of Los Angeles which was voted on yesterday. Some highlights of the agreement.
- A 10 year term beginning January 2023 with two additional 5 year extension options.
- Digital screens on 700 of the structures
- A 60% revenue share payment to the city.
Tranzito-Vector, LLC. is a joint venture between Tranzito, an organization dedicated to helping public agencies assert control over public curb space and Vector Media, the largest Transit Advertising Company in the US.
