Key Congressman Salutes FBI-Billboard Partnership

The transportation leader of the US House of Representatives praised the FBI’s use of digital billboards as an effective partnership that saves taxpayers’ money and enhances safety.

On November 29, Congressman Bill Shuster, R-PA, published a statement in the Congressional Record, commending billboard operators for donating space to help law enforcement.  The FBI began using digital billboards in 2007 and recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of the partnership.

“As this effective public-private partnership enters its next decade, I commend the FBI and outdoor advertisers for finding a creative solution to fight crime and keep our streets safe,” said Shuster, chairman of the House Transportation & Infrastructure Committee.
