Jeremy Male on one-to-many vs one-to-one

Outfront Media’s CEO Jeremy Male rang the closing bell at the NYSE stock exchange on March 29.  He was asked about the future of the ad industry and said this:

“There’s actually huge room for one to many…if we think about today with Lyft, the big story with their IPO coming out today…Lyft spent 70% of their advertising dollars out of home last year…Apple is our largest individual advertiser.  So while one-to-one is important, one-to-many is still very important.  But as we increasingly are layering on into our processes data and insight into much more granular information about our audiences…we can be very targeted also.”
