JC Decaux Revenue Up 31% During 3Q 2021

Revenues increased at JCDecaux despite mobility restrictions in asia and limits on international flights.  Here are the results of the company’s 3Q 2021 revenue release.  We’ve translated euros into dollars.

  • Revenue increased 31% tp $888 million.  Street furniture grew 31%.  Transit grew 34%.  Billboards grew 21%.
  • The company expects organic revenue to grow by 20% during the fourth quarter of 2021.

Co-CEO Jean-Francois Decaux said the company’s digital revenues are thriving:

Digital Out Of Home (DOOH) grew by +55.8% yoy and reached 24.5% of Group revenue year-to-date. We continued to accelerate our digital transformation and maintained our focus on the roll-out of digital screens and on the development of our automated data-driven planning and trading solutions. Programmatic trading gained good momentum via the VIOOH platform which is now connected to 34 DSPs (Demand Side Platforms) and trading in 14 countries.
