mediausa CEO Wayne Thomas:

I met Jack while in college.  He got me into the biz, after graduating college…He and Kanwaha Valley Advertising bought Cotterman Outdoor in Parkersburg, WV and Marietta, Ohio. He hired me to run the plant. I was 23. ..I left the Company after 7 years to buy my own radio stations. We remained friends. He had a wonderful marriage. He married his wife Phyllis while attending Marshall University. He told me once a few years back that they got married because they thought they couldn’t live without each other, she survives him after nearly 70 years of marriage. He used to say he had poster paste in his blood and on his shoes. Though his suits were always tailored and sharp.  A very good Family man, Outdoor man and gentleman.
