Daktronics, the South Dakota headquartered digital billboard manufacturer, is looking for more workers to help it meet a record $400 million backlog.  Billboard Insider found 102 open Daktronics positions on Linked in during a search yesterday.  Here’s a KELO news story on the company which talks about Daktronics history, recent supply chain issues and the hiring push.

Billboard Insider’s take: Anyone who owns a Daktronics digital billboard knows the company makes a great product.  Yesterday, Daktronics addressed a bank maturity issue by extending part of its bank line to May 2023 and the remainder to May 2025.   The former CFO of Wells Fargo Bank has joined the Daktronics Board to help the company boost liquidity.  Daktronics is also hiring people to help it to work off a record $400 million backlog.  The biggest long term challenge for the company is to generate consistent net income.
