Patrick O’Donnell is President of YESCO Outdoor Media. Patrick also sits on the OAAA board of directors, is past chair of OAAA’s legislative committee and is a member of the OAAA Hall of Fame.

Insider had a chance to talk with Patrick about the company.

Patrick, can you provide us with a quick update on the business since last time we talked?

YESCO Outdoor Media currently operates 2,543 display faces across 8 states. Ranked by faces they are Utah, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nevada, South Dakota, Arizona & Nebraska. We have 51 digital bulletins (408 turns) 264 in Utah, 88 in Idaho, 40 in Wyoming and 16 in Nevada.

How do you feel YESCO is doing in your conversion from static to digital boards?

I think there remains a balance by market with the right ratio of digital to static displays. The advertisers will eventually sort it out for us.

Do you feel like YESCO has moved beyond Covid in both your financial results and your forward planning?

2020 was a surprising year for us in that we not only increased revenue but developed an entirely new skill set to sell our product remotely. 2021 has started off gangbusters.

You recently acquired 95 structures in Eastern Idaho and Northern Utah.  How has integration of those structures gone?

Our recent acquisition in Eastern Idaho and Northern Utah is at the rebranding stage as we come out of winter. The rest has been seamless.
