Porter Advertising is a family owned business serving Eastern Indiana and Western Ohio since 1945.    Richard Peterson is the President of the Company.

In September 2017 Porter Advertising purchased the billboard assets of Tom Raper Enterprises. The acquisition added 75 faces in both Ohio and Indiana.  For more on the company and the acquisition you can read the Insider article.  Insider talked with Richard Peterson.

How has covid impacted Porter?

COVID – our revenue numbers came back very quickly and have now surpassed last year.  As we look to the first quarter, things are looking very positive.
What’s new in the past year.
Here is what we have been focusing on:
  •  Our people – people you hire makes all the differences in the world.
  •  Next Generations – we hired my son to be the Operations Manager.  He moved back from Hawaii after having his first child.  He is doing a fantastic job as he continues to take on more and more responsibility.
  •  Safety – we are continuing to make safety our highest priority.
  •  Maintenance – we have been catching up with some long over due maintenance.
