Nauman Outdoor has been serving communities in Central & Southeastern Ohio for almost 90 years. They have more than 450 advertising faces throughout Central & Southeastern Ohio in a variety of formats including 30 sheet posters, junior paints, bulletins, and digital signage.

Rolland Nauman started Nauman Outdoor in 1931. Rollie began his career as a sign painter for the Thomas Cusack Sign Company in 1917. Then, in 1928 Rollie was recruited to work for Black Sign Company.

Since its founding, four generations have owned Nauman Outdoor. Rollie’s son Ralph joined the company in 1945 and purchased it from his father in 1963. After returning from Vietnam in 1966, Ralph’s son Jerry joined the company and later purchased it in 1974. Now the company is owned by Jerry’s son Jay, who joined the company in 1995. He then purchased it from his father in 2001.
