Mile High Outdoor was founded in 1996 and owns 400 billboard faces, including 12 digital faces in the Denver Metro area and the state of Colorado.  Mile Hi is also involved in the Pacific Outdoor joint venture which purchased Clear Channel Outdoor’s Portland plant.  Business Times and Watchfire have written about the company’s digital sign installations.  Mile Hi President Steve Richards is Chair of the Legislative Committee of the OAAA.  Richards is also a Partner in Pacific Outdoor.  In July Richards wrote an OAAA thought leadership piece on pending legislative and legal issues.  Here are excerpts from our interview with Steve.

I started in sales with Outdoor Systems – Phoenix in 1992

What’s the Colorado market like?

The best! We have a very mobile population due to the active lifestyle the State promotes which means more people on the go and in front of our various OOH platforms.
