Tell us about your history in the outdoor business.

We built a 248 face plant which we sold to TriState in 1998.  We formed a second company which developed interstate billboards which we sold in 2003.  We formed Leslie Outdoor in 2012 to take advantage of the opportunities created by digital billboards.

On the sale of the company’s Atlanta digital billboards in January 2019

We are very happy with our sale to Outfront.  We have been in the outdoor business since 1994, I have bought and sold several markets over the years.  I was very interested in the Atlanta market and the Digital Billboards.  So I started looking and found several locations I was interested in.  It took two years to get these two locations permitted and built.  It was always my intention to get them built and sold. I will continue to look for new locations and build in Atlanta. In the mean time we have ten digital billboards in the middle Ga. area to keep us busy. I want to send a shout out to our broker Marty Williamson, he made contact with all the big outdoor companies and we had several offers and sold in a very short period of time.
