Innovare Medical Media partners with hospitals and advertisers to offer cutting-edge digital signage solutions specifically designed for the healthcare sector. Insider talked with Company President and Partner, Nick Lieberman who along with Michael Ricciardi, founded the business.

Nick, tell us about your background and how Innovare was started?
Innovare Media was founded following the sale of a similar family business, Interspace Airport Advertising, to Clear Channel Outdoor in 2006. After that transaction, we saw an opportunity to apply many of the same business principles and strategies to an entirely untapped environment: hospitals and healthcare venues.
Alongside my co-founder, Mike Ricciardi, we recognized that healthcare professionals, patients, and visitors represent one of the most valuable and influential audiences for advertisers today.
Approximately 50% of our advertisers are healthcare-focused — ranging from major pharmaceutical companies and government public health campaigns to local homecare providers and assisted living organizations.
The remaining 50% includes universities, banks, insurance companies, and consumer brands looking to connect with audiences in a highly trusted environment.

You work primarily with hospitals? How large is your market?
Innovare partners with some of the leading healthcare systems across the United States. Today, we maintain long-term agreements with nearly 250 hospitals and an additional 100 healthcare venues, including urgent care centers and medical office buildings.
There are approximately 2,000 highly attractive hospital venues nationwide. However, successfully navigating the complexities, operational structures, and decision-making processes within large health systems requires years of industry experience and relationship-building.
Innovare is well-positioned for continued expansion, with a goal of reaching 1,000 healthcare venues within the next four to five years. That growth would represent approximately 4,000–5,000 digital screens nationwide across one of the most unique and impactful advertising environments in the country.
The value of the healthcare venue environment was reinforced in our 2026 National Brand Impact Survey:
• 81% of respondents said seeing advertisements in a healthcare venue makes them more likely to trust the brand.
• 80% said advertisements displayed on hospital LCD screens feel more relevant than advertisements they encounter elsewhere.

What are some of products and new initiatives you provide to the hospital community and to advertisers?
Our phone charging stations with embedded LCD digital displays have been extremely well received by hospitals, employees, patients, and visitors alike. Engagement and usage levels have significantly exceeded expectations, while also contributing positively to the overall patient experience within the facility.
Results from our 2026 National Patient Experience Survey further validated the platform’s effectiveness:
• 92% of respondents said having a charging station available in a healthcare venue is “extremely” or “very” valuable.
• 89% said charging stations enhance the overall healthcare experience.
• 97% found the content displayed on the digital screens to be valuable and engaging.
Looking ahead, one of Innovare’s biggest initiatives for 2026 is continuing to expand our measurement and attribution capabilities for advertising partners. We have established partnerships with organizations including PurpleLab, Geopath, Reveal Mobile, and Veeva Crossix.
While our national advertising business continues to grow rapidly, our local and regional partnerships remain the foundation of our long-term success.
