    Billy, how did you enter the outdoor business?

    My background is shopping center development, and my brother introduced me to the outdoor business in 2008. I did my first digital board in front of one of our existing shopping centers in 2008. I have enjoyed the outdoor business meeting the many people and local/national businesses and brainstorming advertising strategies and then implementing these advertising strategies. I have found that not too many businesses out there don’t like outdoor. I will continue to grow our inventory and business.

    I have a small team with myself leading the leasing efforts. We pride ourselves in customer service – personal, friendly, quick responses, quick ad changes, etc.

    What’s the Atlanta market like?

    Atlanta is a great market with high demand for outdoor. Atlanta’s road system isn’t the best for the growing population, which keeps customers on the roads and in front of our boards.

    I have Watchfire and Yesco digital boards, and they are both good partners.

    How is selling digital different from selling a static board?

    Digital is more fun, due to the creativity and spontaneity that it invites. Digital allows flexibility in ad changes and allows for copy to always remain fresh. Digital is much easier to pitch with the no up-front production costs, as well.
