Dunkin and Martha Allred started Blackbelt Outdoor in 2014 in the heart of the “Blackbelt” region of Alabama. Since then they have expanded their coverage area into over 10 counties in central Alabama. They currently operate 20 digital and 130 static faces.

Looks like you have had continued growth since we talked last. How many static and digital structures are you up to now?
Yes, we have John. We picked up some nice locations about a year ago from another local operator that gave us an excellent footprint in a new market. We have had a little organic growth as well.
Take us through how you site locations for digital? Are you doing conversions of static boards or are they new builds?
We try to focus on long reads with slow moving or stopped traffic. Mostly new builds, but some of both.
What are the current business conditions for your Alabama customers? Any segments hit harder than most?
Thankfully, Alabama like most of the south, has been open for business. Restaurants and hospitality seem to be the most affected.
I assume football season has everyone’s spirits up down in SEC country?
Yes sir. Football, hunting season, and cooler weather! What more can you ask for? War Damn Eagle!
