How did you get into the out of home business?
I was a salesperson for Ackerley Outdoor Advertising back in 1988 and found out about the RFP for Bus Shelter Advertising units in the city of Key West. Then the Keys transit system wanted to expand up the Keys and I invested in another 45 Bus shelters to be positioned between Marathon and Key West. And since that expansion I was granted thru Monroe County to expand all the way to Key Largo.
Has Covid impacted your company?
Absolutely. COVID had an impact on my business during the shut down, but I am back to around 80% of what I was billing before the Covid crisis hit. Every month is better and better.
What are some priorities for 2021
My Priorities for the end of 2021 and the beginning of 2022 is to install 2 digital Bus shelter video screens in 2 of my Key locations on the Island of Key West. If there is any company that exclusively promotes digital outdoor Advertising only.
