Clear Channel Up, Lamar and OUTFRONT Down in 3Q 2022

Clear Channel Outdoor outperformed the market for the third quarter of 2022, Lamar followed the market and OUTFRONT underperformed the market, although all st0cks fell in the month of September due to recession fears.  Clear Channel finished the quarter up 28%.  Lamar fell 6% as did the S&P 500.  OUTFRONT fell 10%.

All of the out of home companies have trailed the US stock market over the past year.  The S&P 500 is down 15%, Lamar is down 27%, OUTFRONT is down 40% and Clear Channel Outdoor is down 50%.  Investors are worried about the impact of a possible recession on advertising.
