Earlier this month Wade Leslie IV, President and CEO of West Virginia Outdoor Advertising died.  Billboard Insider reader Brian Mount sent us a story which speaks to the integrity and compassion of Leslie.

Wade was one of the best owners I have ever worked for. I installed numerous structures in his market and was treated with respect and friendship. In 2011 I was scheduled to be in Huntington to build 4 units for him, but my son Albert lost his life in an automobile accident 2 days prior to all of steel being delivered. Wade handled all the deliveries and installed all the columns and foundations while I delayed my arrival until the following week. He would not allow me to discount my invoice for all the work he did and spent time with me everyday just to talk. I haven’t and will never forget his compassion and caring ways.
