NJ.com reports that an anti-hamas billboard along Route 80 in New Jersey was taken down after more than 100 people complained. The billboard ad said “Oh, don’t be naive. It would be different if this was fake news, but spitting out facts shouldn’t be condemned. It is the reason we are where we are at in this day & time! I don’t wish harm on anyone, but what they did needs to be addressed! Just imagine if it was one of your family members.
I would run a pro Israel campaign that does not have to be so aggressively anti Hamas.
I used to take any campaign that told the truth and was legal. These times we are in cause us to think a little more.
Pretty much all of JewBelong.com’s billboards are super edgy like this so I don’t see a big problem with it, but I think people wouldn’t have been so upset if it wasn’t red background with white text. I would have reworded it to be something else, but it proves nothing. I don’t think it actually has a message. It doesn’t do anything for them.
Also if the website would have been all white text you could see it, but I really think they could have done a better idea. About this particular issue it’s too heavy, so general support for Israel would have been better. Like a stronger more unifying message is appropriate right now.
