Florida billboard attorney Jennifer Sloane has this to say: “At the 11th hour, literally, Hurricane Irma took a more northward bound turn and headed towards central Florida (just west of Orlando). This unexpected turn did not give outdoor operators time to prepare. Luckily no structures have been seen damaged in the area; just the loss of many vinyls.”
OAAA President Nancy Fletcher gave Insider this update on Hurricane Irma: “We’re acessing damage. Times like these underscore the importance of clear, strong regulations that support maintenance and repair.”
