Bill Whiteheart, 70 of Winston-Salem, died on September 5, 2017 at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital after collapsing while on a walk. in 1970 Whiteheart founded Whiteheart Outdoor Advertising, an out of home advertising company headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He was also involved in county politics.
Whiteheart was in the news in February for running a billboard which said “Real men provide. Real women appreciate it.” Winston-Salem Journal has an article on his business and political career and an obituary.
