Here’s a breakout of how many out of home displays there are in the US at year end 2025 according to the OAAA.  We note that the OAA shows that there are 420,500 Billboards in the United States as of 2025.  Billboard Insider’s list 2025 North American Bulletin/Poster  companies calculated that there were 422,711 display faces.  Our number is slightly below the OAAA figure when you subtract Canadian operators but this is because we don’t have face counts for all the 467 bulletin/poster companies on our list.

The analysis shows that out of home isn’t just billboards and posters because billboards and posters only account of 420,400 or 13% of the 3,238,455 total US out of home displays.
