YESCO Installs New Gateway Arch in Yuba City, CA

SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA (January 2026) – YESCO, the 105-year-old company known for creating, repairing and maintaining internationally recognizable signs, announces the fabrication and installation of a new illuminated gateway arch marking the entrance to historic downtown Yuba City, California.

Commissioned by North Star Construction & Engineering, Inc. in cooperation with the City of Yuba City Public Works Department, the striking new sign was designed to celebrate the community’s identity while providing a prominent landmark for visitors and residents alike. The single-face illuminated roadway arch measures 26 feet 3 inches high by 56 feet 4 inches wide, spanning the main downtown thoroughfare.

YESCO’s team engineered the sign for longevity and visual impact, incorporating precision metalwork, durable finishes and energy-efficient LED illumination to ensure the gateway shines bright for years to come.

“Projects such as the Yuba City gateway arch are about enhancing the community’s identity,” said Jeff Young, executive vice president, YESCO. “Bringing this new landmark to life will not only welcome residents but also leave a lasting impression on visitors traveling through the area.”
