US vehicle miles traveled rose 0.6% in October 2024 according the the FHWA Traffic Volume trends report for October 2025.  Vehicle miles traveled rose 1% for the first 10 months of 2025.  As you can see from the table below miles travelled rose the most in the central and western states.
