So where did the name BB Outdoor originate?
My father came up with the name.
Were you able to continue to grow in 2020 and so far in 2021 given the pandemic issues?
Yes 2020 turned out to be a good year for us and 2021 has been going very well. I have 2 digital billboards now, one in Rockwall and my newest one in Garland. Both of these sign are on I-30 east of Dallas.
Your digital on I-30 Northeast of Dallas in Rockwall is an interesting design. What is the story behind that structure?
The digital in Rockwall sits lower to the ground and is a very unique sign. Has great visibility and sits on the hill as you enter Rockwall after crossing the lake. This sign used to be a wooden sign that sat low to the ground and the city wanted me to keep it low because the view from that hill is amazing. The sign really grabs your attention as you enter the town and being low to the ground you can’t help but look at it.
Do you see more digital conversions in your near future?
I have a back to back 14’x48’ digital sign I’m working on now. Hope to have it up in the near future.
