Billboard Insider readers are split on whether to require customers to replace storm damaged vinyls. Half of our readers install and replace a storm damaged vinyl for free. 6% always require the client to repair a storm damaged vinyl. 44% say sometimes the replace the vinyl for free and sometimes not depending on the relationship. I would simply charge more up front and then use the extra cost to cover reprinting signs for “Free” after the storm. Everybody is happy!
