Lind Media Executes Huge McDonalds Campaign

Lind Media just changed out 350 posters in three days!  Billboard Insider talked with Lind Media President John Siegenthaler about this amazing feat.

John, give us more details

Our 6 Lind billposters faced a challenge this week to post approximately 350 posters in our Northern Ohio and Southwest Ohio markets. With 6 billposters covering 27 counties in very spread markets, we knew it would be a challenge.  Our usual 150 weekly posting volume was upended with a McDonalds buy of about 200 posters in 4 different DMAs. In addition, 2 of our 6 billposters have only been with us less than 2 months.  Despite heavy winds they posted 122 Monday and 123 Tuesday. They finished the remaining 105 posters on Wednesday.  I can’t say enough about the drive and character of our Operations team, led by Iron Mike Wallace.

How did Lind’s SignSprings technology assist with the changeouts.

Yes they are all SignSpring postings. Each 30-sheet posting takes 5 minutes once they’re  on the walkway.  PosterSpring, like all SignSpring systems requires no tools, ratchets, rods, cables or clips. The poster/vinyl goes directly from shipping box to billboard. No prep required.  It also enables us to re-use and rotate posters, which is a huge competitive advantage for Lind Media and our advertisers.     122 Monday, 123 Tuesday, 105 Wednesday = 355.
    The guys finished Mid afternoon Wednesday.
