There are many small but growing out of home companies.  What should a small out of home company owner think about if they want to take their company to the next level?

Often what I see is learning what it takes to scale their company to the next level.

  • Where should they continue to invest their time, energy, focus?
  • How do I truly assess the health of my company?
  • Do I have a strategic plan for the next 3 years?  What are the growth opportunities available to me?  Am I prioritizing the organic growth of my company? (Most don’t realize they are not) Acquisition growth?  Combination of the two?
  • What should they outsource or have other employees do?
  • Understanding how to truly make “best fit” hires as they grow the company.  In a small operation, one bad hire can cripple the growth prospects of the company.
  • Am I leveraging industry best practices or continuing to do it the way I’ve always done it?
