Reeves Media is a sales rep firm representing  high profile out of home locations in the Eastern United States including the following markets: Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, Huntsville, Orlando and Tampa, Turks and Caicos  The company was founded in the mid-80’s and is a member of the OAAG, OAAA, Geopath and the IBOUSA  Patti Reeves is Founder and CEO.  TG Shaw is the company’s President.  Shaw appeared on the Billboard Insider podcast in August 2020.  Some excerpts from that interview.

What’s new at the company?

We represent high profile, iconic, independent vendors in the Atlanta Georgia area as well as across the country.  We definitely have some exciting things happening right now starting with my new ownership role in the company and the appointment of Diane Bourasa as our director of sales in the Northeast…

What are media buyers like?

It varies.  We work with a lot of really great media buyers and all of the out of home placement agencies…you’re right in that it’s tough to get somebody on the phone…and that’s where we really need to go sometimes because with everybody working remotely these days meetings are few and far between.  So we really need to be able to have a conversation to explain the benefits of our inventory…a lot of times my inventory is different and one of a kind versus your standard digital bulletin…it does take a little bit more explanation…

What does out of home need to do to boost it’s share of the overall ad spend to 4% ?

That’s the age old question…I think the industry has done a great job in aligning in how other mediums are bought nationally…Geopath has been a great driving force for that…this has been years in the making from converting from monthly billing to 4 week billing…to our current weekly impressions data…At the end of the day we’re all one team…I think it’s important to have compelling voices telling the right stories to the brands…It’s important for the out of home placement agencies to have keep people telling the story for our of home if the out of home vendors aren’t able to do it.
