A Marriage Proposal Via a Billboard

A Baltimore man used a billboard to make a marriage proposal.  He popped the question in front of a billboard which said “Allison Haley, will you marry me? – Juan Carlos Puga.”   Puga rented the Clear Channel Outdoor poster for $500.

Insider’s take:  All smiles here, but marriage proposals on billboards require a little bit of due diligence on your part.  Insider is aware of two cases where a billboard company was forced to take down a marriage proposal billboard when the woman was not amused.  In both cases the women had terminated relationships and the men were trying to impress them.  In one case the woman had a court restraining order against the man.
