CCTV America shares a story of a new California startup taking advantage of the ability to track vehicles by turning them into moving billboards and generating some cash for the owners.
Wrapify operates a crowdsourced advertising platform that connects drivers and brands to create on-vehicle advertising. We wrote about them back in March and interviewed their CEO, James Heller. The Company allows commuters and drivers to earn extra income by wrapping their vehicles in art and commercial messaging. Wrapify, Inc. was incorporated in 2015 and is based in Solana Beach, California.

A review of their web site quickly indicates that the focus is on large metropolitan U.S. areas and they compare themselves versus traditional outdoor advertising. No indication yet of expansion into international markets.
