Wingate Media Group has sold its Nashville Out of Home plant. We talked with Wingate Media Group President Ike Wingate about the transaction.
Ike in February you sold your non-Nashville assets to Trailhead Media. What did you sell this time and to who?
We sold our Nashville outdoor assets to Trailhead Media and our Indoor Place-Based screens to a new startup, Tri-Star Media.
What factored into your decision to sell?
My wife and I were eager to get back to the majority of our family in Northwest Arkansas and this was one of the final pieces to allow that to happen. We had a fantastic broker in Max Drachman and after such a seamless experience with Trailhead Media on our previous transaction together, it just made sense.
What’s next for you?
My family and I have arrived in Northwest Arkansas and we plan to enjoy the rest of the summer. Once school starts, I’ll be looking for new opportunities. In the meantime, I am available to consult with OOH companies that have less than 500 faces. I have spent most of my life working in or around small family billboard companies and if my experience can help someone then I would be happy to assist.
