Billboard Insider has compiled executive salaries for Lamar, OUTFRONT and Clear Channel Outdoor during 2021 based on data in each company’s Schedule 14A.

Two observations

• Every exec got a pay increase in 2021.  The median pay increase was 69% which is not surprising based on the recovering financials and stock price for each company.  A good portion of each exec’s check is performance based.  12 of 13 executives had a drop in compensation in 2020 and the median pay cut was 20%.
• Lamar execs are underpaid or Outfront and Clear Channel Execs are overpaid or both.   Lamar is a bigger company measured by assets than OUTFRONT or Clear Channel Outdoor.  Lamar’s one year stock return was better than OUTFRONT’s and Lamar’s five year stock return blows the other companies away…
