Lamar accounted for 28% of US billboard revenues during the first 9 months of 2021, followed by OUTFRONT (20%), Clear Channel Outdoor Americas (17%) and Link Media Outdoor (1% billboard market share). Here’s the surprise. Independents are the biggest single block of US billboard revenues. Independents make up 34% of US out of home revenues. Now you understand why Chris Cowlbeck and the IBOUSA are spending so much time trying to get the independent out of home companies connected in the IBO Speedway sales network.
